Zulfiqar Hussain MD

Zulfiqar Hussain, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He specializes in the treatment of neuromuscular diseases, electrodiagnostic testing and intraoperative neurophysiology.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hussain worked as a Staff Neurologist at Cleveland Clinic in the US, where he helped expand and create a collaborative neuroscience department with other hospitals and healthcare systems in Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Hussain has taken part in several charitable initiatives, having recently been involved in a program providing kidney dialysis machines to impoverished areas in his home country of Pakistan.

Dr. Hussain received his medical degree from the Punjab Medical College in Faisalabad, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Neurology at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, US, where he also completed a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Intraoperative Monitoring and Neuromuscular Diseases at the Weill Cornell Medical College Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York, US.
