Dr. Zujin Zhao, Ph.D. is a Professor at the South China University of Technology. Zhao Zujin received his BS degree in 2003 and Ph.D. degree in 2008 chemistry from Zhejiang University. From 2008–2010, he conducted his postdoctoral work under the supervision of Prof. Ben Zhong Tang at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research is mainly focused on the development of functional organic materials and the exploration of their optoelectronic and biological applications. He has published more than 190 peer-reviewed SCI papers, including high-impact Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., etc. These papers have been cited by more than 4000 times by others. He has held 10 issued Chinese patents and is in charge of 3 NSFC projects. In 2014, he obtained financial support from Guangdong Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholars. In 2018, he joins NSFC basic scientific center project (Luminescence from Molecular Aggregates) as a key member (total of 10 members).
