Zuccala Alessandro

Dr. Zuccala graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1971 at the University of Bologna and in 1976 he obtained the Specialization in Nephrology at the same University. In 1972 he worked at the Nephrology Division of the M. Malpighi Hospital in Bologna, and in 1990 he obtained the assignment of the Functional Module "Treatment and prevention of arterial hypertension of nephrological interest. In 2004 he was appointed Head of Simple structure at the S. Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic. Dr. Zuccala is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nephrology and collaborates as a Reviewer at the American Journal of Kidney Diseases and at Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Nephrology from October 2010 to October 2013.

He is currently an adjunct professor at the School of Specialization in Nephrology of the University of Bologna. aimed at completing Multicenter International Clinical Trial Studies, initiated by Dr. Zuccalà as Director of the Imola Nephrology Complex Operative Unit. Dr. Zuccala is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nephrology and collaborates as a Reviewer at the American Journal of Kidney Diseases and at Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Nephrology from October 2010 to October 2013.
