Zubaidah Binti Nor Hanipah MD, MS

Associate Professor Dr. Zubaidah Nor Hanipah is a former Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) medical student, who graduated in 2002. She joined UPM as a surgical trainee lecturer after serving the Ministry of Health for 4 years. Currently, she works at the Department of Surgery as a Clinical Consultant in General Surgery, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery. She is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, Malaysia Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Society (MyMBS), and the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO). At present, she is the secretary of the Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery Malaysia (SELMA).
