Zeina Kassem RN, BSN, MSN

Zeina Kassem is the Nursing Director of the Medical and Oncology Service Line at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (UAE). She is overseeing multiple clinical areas and leading the development of primary care and the new cancer center. She has established ambulatory care standards and has driven initiatives to improve patient access and expand the scope of ambulatory services. Zeina is an engagement and leadership coach as she believes that coaching promotes individual and team excellence.

Zeina is a member of the Magnet team, the chair of the Recruitment and Retention Council, Patient Experience Council and has been leading strategic initiatives to improve patient’s first philosophy and to optimize the patient and caregiver experience. Zeina joined CCAD before its opening on April 2014 as a nurse manager and was part of the leadership team that was instrumental in the initiation of clinical services, recruitment, and onboarding, designing electronic medical record documentation workflows and clinical decision support, commissioning the hospital, Joint Commission Accreditation and enculturation of shared governance structure.
