Dr. Zaffer A. Qasim is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. He has been trained in Emergency Medicine and Trauma/Critical Care Medicine in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Pakistan. He holds Emergency Medicine board certification from the US's American Board of Emergency Medicine, the UK's Royal College of Emergency Medicine Canada's Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Critical Care board certification through the American Board of Surgery and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. His academic interests and experience reside in acute resuscitation, endovascular resuscitation, operational prehospital care, hemorrhage control, and the interface of emergency and critical care medicine.
