Yunpeng Li PhD

Dr. Yunpeng Li is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning in the Department of Engineering Science and a member of the Machine Learning Research Group, University of Oxford. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 2017. Li enjoys both theoretical research in machine learning and statistical signal processing methodologies and their applications in interdisciplinary areas including sensor networks, biomedical engineering, and environmental science. He is currently working on using sound collected by low-cost mobile phones to detect the presence of malaria-vectoring mosquito.
