Yucel Ozen

Dr. Yucel Ozen is an Associate Professor at the University of Health Sciences. He received his bachelor's degree from Uludag University. He completed his specialty training at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital in 2003. Between 2003-2006, he worked as a cardiac surgeon at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital. Between 2007-2013, he worked as a clinic chief in various private hospitals. In 2016, he became an associate professor at Koşuyolu Heart Training and research hospital. Then, in 2013 and 2017, she worked as a coordinator in the heart transplant and artificial heart team at Koşuyolu Heart Hospital. Actively participated in more than 30 heart transplants and more than 100 artificial heart surgeries. He is still working at Sancaktepe İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital.

He has had 147 papers presented at national and international scientific meetings in his field and published in proceedings books. He has 128 certificates in the field of cardiovascular surgery. He has been working on heart transplantation and artificial heart surgeries for a very long time. He has performed more than 20,000 heart and vascular surgeries.

His research interests are Cardiac Surgery, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Aortic Diseases, Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery, Carotid Arteries, Vascular Diseases, Angioplasty, Heart Transplantation, and Heart Failure.
