Yu-hung Wu MD

Dr. Yu-Hung Wu is currently an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Department of Medicine, Mackay Medical College, and a senior practicing dermatologist and dermatopathologist at the Department of Dermatology, Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. He served as the chair of the department, Chief-in-Editor of Dermatological Sinica (the official journal of Taiwanese Dermatological Association. Indexed in SCI), and executive committee member of International Society of Dermatopathology between 2007 and 2013.

Dr. Wu received his M.D. degree from the Taipei Medical University in 1991 and completed 4-year dermatology resident training in Mackay Memorial Hospital. He received dermatopathology fellowship training at Indiana University with Dr. Antoinette Hood in 2001. In 2002, he started a continuous monthly dermatopathology lecture in Taipei for more than 10 years. It’s a comprehensive teaching project including 36 lectures in a 3-year-based round, including inflammatory skin diseases, deposition, infection, and cutaneous neoplasm. All lectures are free for residents or professional physicians to attend. Twelve lectures of inflammatory skin diseases have been collected and published in DVD. He has published more than 100 scientific articles in the peer-reviewed journals till now.
