Yu Hu MD, PhD

Dr. Hu is a professor and director of the department of Hematology, at Union hospital, Tongji medical college, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was also the recipient of the Yangtze Scholarship, China Ministry of Education. At present, his work is focused on the early diagnosis and targeted therapy of thrombosis. He has published about 174 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and 60 articles are cited by SCI, including Leukemia, Am J Hum Genet, Biomaterials, J Thromb Haemost, Plos one, Am J Clin Pathol, Thromb Res, and many others. He is the Principal Investigator of the National Natural Science Funds (Outstanding Youth Foundation) and the National Basic Research Program of China (973 program) on thrombosis diseases. He is now vice chairman of Chinese Medical Association of Hematology, chairman of Chinese Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, chairman of Hubei Society of Hematology, editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Clinical Emergency, associate editor of Chinese Journal of Clinical Hematology, editor of Thrombosis Journal, Chinese Journal of Hematology, Chinese Journal of Experimental Hematology, Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine and Chinese Journal of Thrombosis Hemostasis.
