Dr. Youngmee Kim is Associate Professor of Psychology and Member of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami. She received her Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of Rochester. Her research focuses on the quality of life of cancer patients/survivors and their family caregivers. She examines biobehavioral mechanisms of the link between cancer-related stress and health at the individual as well as family/dyadic levels. her work has been supported by the National Institute of Health/National Institute of Nursing Research, the American Cancer Society Intramural and Extramural Research Programs. She has been Associate Editor of Quality of Life Research and Translational Behavioral Research.
