Young Kwang Chae was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Seoul National University College of Medicine and then moved to the U.S. and earned his MBA and MPH at Johns Hopkins and completed his internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Currently, he is a medical oncologist at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, where he works to bridge the gap between scientific breakthroughs and clinical medicine.
Dr. Chae enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, playing tennis, and snowboarding. He reads and writes many poems, and Dead Poets Society is one of his favorite movies. With a passion for teaching, he loves working with students and trainees in his Grapevine ministry and the Global Medical Missions Alliance.
