Dr. Juhn is a Professor of Pediatrics, Digital Health Sciences, Allergy, and Health Care Policy and Research at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He is certified in both the American Board of Clinical Informatics and the American Board of Pediatrics and is a clinical epidemiologist by training.

He is currently an NIH R01 funded physician-scientist and is heading the Precision Population Science Lab with the goal of optimizing clinical care and research to deliver high-value care in the personal and social context through science and technology. His research focuses on computational phenotyping and immune phenotyping for asthma through artificial intelligence using natural language processing, HOUSES index (an innovative individual-level socioeconomic status measure), and innovative immune profiling.
