Yoshio Yamaoka, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and Chair in the Department of Environmental and Preventive Medicine at the Oita University Faculty of Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his medical degree from the Kyoto Prefectural University Of Medicine. His clinical interests are Gastroenterology, Gastroenterological Endoscopy, Internal Medicine, Helicobacter Pylori-Related Gastroduodenal Diseases, Virulence Factors of Helicobacter Pylori, Immunology of Gastroduodenal Diseases, Gastric Cancer, Capsule Endoscopy.
