Yolanda Smith leads medical and consumer HCP integration at Lilly USA, LLC where she cultivates trusted relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration among marketing and sales with medical and consumer teams, infusing best practices and innovation while establishing new guardrails for customer-centric engagement throughout the Lilly product portfolio. Prior to this role at Lilly, she was the director of external relations where she led the strategy and implementation of a portfolio to enhance Lilly’s partnerships with US external stakeholders. Known for her innovative thinking and ability to implement on her vision, Yolanda’s recognition extends broadly. She was selected as one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2017 “Women of Influence,” which recognizes women who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in their careers and community service. She earned the prestigious 2017 LRL President’s Diversity award and in 2016, she was honored with the PM360 ELITE award for transformational leadership. Yolanda has held various positions in the pharmaceutical industry throughout her career.
With over 10 years of public speaking experience, her passion for helping others achieve their personal best inspired her to found Branding 4 Success, LLC where she currently serves as CEO and travels the country delivering keynote speeches and facilitating master class workshops on Personal Branding to academic, corporate and professional organizations. Her educational pursuits earned her a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business, in marketing and business analysis, and she obtained her MBA with a healthcare concentration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Yolanda is married with two children, and a German Shepard mix named Tito. She enjoys gardening and is a saltwater aquarium enthusiast and also serves as the chairman of the board for the non-profit organization Girl Talk Incorporated.
