Ying Cheong MBChB, BAO, MA, FRCOG, MD

Dr Ying Cheong is Professor of Reproductive Medicine within Medicine at the University of Southampton. Ying is a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery and Professor in Reproductive Medicine in the University of Southampton. She co-founded the Complete Fertility Centre Southampton at the Princess Anne Hospital in 2011 together with Professor Nick Macklon and Julia Paget, which now treats hundreds of patients with fertility problems. Ying specialises in reproductive surgery (laparoscopic and open), the management of a wide range of gynaecological problems including polycystic ovaries, recurrent miscarriages and pelvic pain.

Ying has served as a member of the RCOG scientific advisory committee, the lead for the local clinical research network and has served as a member of the Human Fertilisation Embryology Authority 'Information for Quality' expert group. She currently sits on several clinical trials steering committees. Ying is also actively involved with undergraduate and postgraduate education and training.
