Yevgeniy Khavkin MD

Dr. Yevgeniy Khavkin is a highly respected neurosurgeon specializing in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. With decades of experience and thousands of successful procedures, he has earned a reputation for excellence in the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Khavkin’s passion for medicine was inspired by his mother, a pediatric surgeon. At just 16, he began medical school in Russia before immigrating to the U.S. in 1994. He became the first foreign medical student to transfer into the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, later completing a Neurosurgical Residency at the University of Chicago and a Fellowship in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He served as Director of Neurosurgical Spine Services at Northwestern University, where he performed complex oncological spine surgeries and trained future neurosurgeons. For over a decade, he led a thriving practice in Las Vegas, attracting patients globally for his minimally invasive techniques and patient-focused care.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Khavkin has dedicated over 25 years to humanitarian efforts, improving medical care in Eastern Europe, Peru, and Vietnam. He has worked with Russian orphanages on orthopedic and neurological conditions and served on the boards of Firefly and MiraMed, organizations supporting global medical charity initiatives. Now practicing in both Dubai and the United States, Dr. Khavkin is expanding access to cutting-edge spine surgery for patients in the UAE, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and Asia. His expertise in minimally invasive techniques helps patients experience reduced recovery times and improved outcomes.
