Yauheni Solad, MD – Postdoctoral fellow in Medical Informatics at Yale Center for Medical Informatics. Dr. Solad’s work is focused on the broad area of Clinical Informatics related to Telemedicine (live video streaming with Google Glass); Smart Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for mobile devices design and development; EMR implementation, usability evaluation security and decision support.

Dr. Solad received a medical degree (summa cum laude) from the Belarussian State Medical University (Minsk, Belarus). He finished his residency at Griffin Hospital in Yale-affiliated Internal Medicine program. Dr. Solad’s work is focused on several areas of Medical Informatics. His is currently developing the Research Registry for the Pancreatic Cystic Neoplasms within the Epic EMR infrastructure.

He also actively participates in the evaluation of the optimal User Interfaces for the medical reference systems with Google Glass and the implementation of wearable technologies at Yale New-Haven Hospital. Dr. Solad continues to practice clinical medicine as a hospitalist in Bristol Hospital and Griffin Hospital. Outside of his work, Dr. Solad is an entrepreneur and active football (soccer) fan. He has served as an adviser for several Start-Ups.
