Yasmina Abajas Roque MD

Dr. Yasmina Abajas, M.D., joined the UNC Department of Pediatrics in July 2016 as the newest faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Abajas, a native of Miami, FL, received her undergraduate and medical degrees and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Miami. She then went on to complete a pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Abajas’s primary clinical and research interests are in hemostasis and thrombosis.
