Yashar Saghai MA, PhD

Yashar Saghai, MA, PhD, is a Hecht-Levi Post-Doctoral Fellow and the director of the Global Food Ethics Project. Specialized in practical ethics and political philosophy, he explores normative, conceptual, and policy issues in food and agriculture, public health, reproductive health, and medical research. Collaborative work fuels Dr. Saghai’s curiosity. He is definitely not fond of borders (geographic, conceptual, disciplinary, ideological) and never misses an opportunity to cross them with like-minded people. He enjoys consensus building, but also a healthy debate with a pragmatic, temporary closure.
