Yaqoub Bin Sulaiman Al Mufargi MD, MRCSEd, SSC-orth

Dr. Yaqoub Sulaiman Almufarji is a Senior Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at The Armed Forces Hospital (AFH), Muscat since 2012. Sulaiman is also a senior clinical lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University college of medicine. Sulaiman is also the Associate Program Director for the orthopedic program and the foundation program in AFH for Oman Medical Speciality Board (OMSB). Sulaiman is the chair of the examination subcommittee for the orthopedic residency program. Sulaiman is an AO faculty and teaches and chairs regularly in AO courses; local, regional and international.

Sulaiman studied medicine at Sultan Qaboos University and orthopedics in Saudi Arabia; Riyadh orthopedic program. Sulaiman did then pediatric orthopedic fellowship at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Riyadh for one year and then at Bern University in Switzerland for another year. Sulaiman treats wide pediatric musculoskeletal problems like DDH, clubfoot, Perthes disease, Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis, osteogenesis imperfecta, limb deformity, trauma, and other congenital and acquired pediatric orthopedic problems.
