Yanay Ofran PhD

Yanay Ofran is the Founder & CEO of Biolojic Design. He is also the Professor, Head of the Lab of Systems Biology and Functional Genomics. His lab is at Bar Ilan University and combines computational and experimental tools to study molecular interactions and their relationship to biological function and to disease. They focus on systems biology, functional genomics, and data integration. In particular, they analyze biological networks in search of molecular mechanisms that account for the control and dynamics of the networks. Using clinical data collected from patients, they compare the molecular interactions in disease to those observed in normal cells.

On the functional genomics side, we develop tools to predict, analyze and design protein function and molecular interactions. To allow for this multifaceted analysis, they design tools for the integration of various types of biological and clinical data.
