Yakup Yalcin

Yakup Yalcin graduated from Rize Fener High School in 2001 and Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. Between 2008 and 2009, he worked as a general practitioner at Gümeli health center in Zonguldak Alaplı district. Between 2009 and 2013, he completed the obstetrics and gynecology assistant at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became an obstetrician and gynecology specialist. From 2013 to 2014, he worked at the Van Regional and Research Hospital. Between 2014-2017, he completed his specialist education in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at Süleyman Decirel University. In 2016, he worked as a visiting researcher at the Department of Gynecological Oncology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center for 3 months. He worked at Isparta City Hospital between 2017 and 2019. Between 2019-2021, he worked as a assisted proffessor in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Antalya Medicalpark Hospital and Istinye University Faculty of Medicine. As of January 2021, he is working as associaton proffessor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Gynecologic Oncology Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of Bursa Uludag University and teaches courses on gynecological cancers at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
