Yair Feld MD, PhD

Doctor Yair Feld completed his first degree in Physics from the University of Tel Aviv. He later received his MD from the Ruth & Bruch Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, and pursued his Ph.D. at the same institute. During this period he founded CorAssist cardiovascular that develops a novel device for heart failure with a preserve ejection fraction that is currently being evaluated in a clinical trial.

Dr. Feld completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus as well as a Cardiology fellowship at the same institution. During this period he founded Paragate Medical that develops a dedicated device for fluids removal in patients with heart failure and diuretic resistance. He then spent a two-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Toronto. Currently, he holds the position of a senior interventional cardiologist and head of the Rambam innovation lab. Doctor Feld's research activities are focused on the area of medical devices.
