Yaewon Seo MSN

Yaewon Seo received her BSN and MSN from Yonsei University in 1985 and 1992. She completed the adult nurse practitioner certification program at Case Western Reserve University in 1999. She received Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 2006. She started her first faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing. In 10/2017, she relocated her research program to the University of Texas at Arlington, College of Nursing and Health Innovation as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Seo has published her research findings on contributing factors of disability and the effects of breathing training on dyspnea and disability in a variety of nursing and medical clinical journals. She was one of the recipients of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing P20 research center grant and has continued to pursue her research career to improve heart failure patient management.
