Nie Xuqiang, professor, doctoral supervisor. He holds a doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (under the tutelage of Nobel Prize winner Professor Ferid Murad and Professor Bian Ka of Stanford University School of Medicine ), and a postdoctoral fellow in Pharmacy from the Third Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army (Army Medical University). He has been a visiting scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong ( CUHK ), Queensland University of Technology ( QUT ), and the University of Queensland ( UQ ). He is currently the first leader of the Pharmacognosy discipline, the head of the discipline, the director of the Pharmacognosy Teaching and Research Section, and the tutor of the " Nanshan Class " at Zunyi Medical University. He is also a thousand-level innovative talent in Guizhou Province and an outstanding young scientific and technological talent in Guizhou Province.
He is a member of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Society of Ethnic Medicine, a member of the Anti-Inflammatory Immunopharmacology Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, a member of the Anti-Aging Branch of the Chinese Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, a member of the Translational Medicine Committee of the Chinese Microcirculation Society, a member of the Australian Chinese Biomedical Association ( ACABS ), a member of the Pharmacology Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, a member of the Medicinal Plants and Botanical Medicine Committee of the Chinese Society of Botany, a deputy director of the Pharmaceutical Education and Popular Science Committee of the Guizhou Pharmaceutical Society, and an expert in the review of the Medical Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the degree thesis of the Ministry of Education. He is the guest editor of Frontiers in Immunology, an editorial board member of the World Journal of Diabetes, a young editorial board member of Burns & Trauma, Journal of Diabetes, Chinese Herbal Medicines, and Journal of Zunyi Medical University; and a reviewer of more than 30 SCI journals, including Nature sub-journals, Diabetes, and Clinical Immunology.
He has presided over three National Natural Science Foundation projects and eight provincial and ministerial projects. He has published more than 80 papers in domestic and foreign journals, including more than 40 papers indexed by SCI such as Acta Pharmacologica Sinica and British Journal of Pharmacology. He has won the Leader 5000 ( F5000 ) Paper Award for " Top Academic Papers in China's Elite Science and Technology Journals ", the National Bronze Award for the " Challenge Cup " College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, the Second Prize of the Guizhou College Student Entrepreneurship Competition, the Third Prize of Guizhou Medical Science and Technology, and the Outstanding Postgraduate Instructor of Zunyi Medical University.
