Dr. Lin received his Ph.D in Molecular Genetics from Washington University in 1995 and held a postdoctoral training in Harvard Medical School in 1995-2000. From 2000 to 2008, Dr. Lin worked as an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor with tenure and a tenured Full Professor in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. And currently, Dr. Lin is a Professor supported by the Chinese government “1000 talents” program, leading the research group of Cell Signaling and Developmental Mechanisms, and the State Key Laboratory of Biomembrane and Membrane Biotechnology at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been the Member of the Editorial Board of Developmental Dynamics, Fly since 2005, and an Associate Editor for Chinese Journal of Cell Biology since 2010.
