Xie Huiting PhD

Dr. Xie Huiting is a state registered mental health nurse who also serves at the Singapore Nurses Association, Psychiatric Nurses Chapter and the Sigma Theta Tau International Singapore Upsilon Eta Chapter, contributing to the branding and development of the nursing profession and scholarship.

She specializes in mental health nursing and is currently a Senior Nurse Educator at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore. She brings with her vast experience of organizing and coordinating learning activities for nurses and students in the area of mental health nursing, research and evidence-based practices.

Her experience spans over the clinical practice, education, and research. She has worked extensively with mental health consumers in a variety of mental health settings. She also partners with community agencies to promote health, prevent and manage diseases of elder persons through the provision of health screening and education. In her professional practice, she supports the implementation of evidence-based practices within the values of the consumer, family/carer and people in the wider community.
