Dr. Warakan graduated his Medical Degree with Second Class Honor from Prince of Songkla University in 1995 and then he pursued a Pediatric Residency training at Songklanagarind Hospital, Thailand from 1995-1999. He was a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Cardiology at Ramathibodi Hospital in 1999-2001 and was a Senior Clinical Fellow at Siriraj Hospital in 2002.
He was a honorary visiting doctor at Evelina Children’s Hospital, London, UK in September 2008. He has been working as a consultant of Pediatric Cardiology at QSNICH since 2006. His clinical research interests are transcatheter therapy in various congenital heart lesions and long term outcome of ASD device closure.
