Woodson C. Merrell MD

Woodson C. Merrell, MD, Sc.D.(hc) is the one of the nation’s leading experts on integrative medicine and health—having been involved in clinical practice and practice standards, education and research for 30 years. Currently he is Chairman of the Department of Integrative Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and the Executive Director of the Center for Health and Healing (CHH) in New York City. Dr. Merrell has had a busy private practice in integrative internal medicine since 1985 in New York City. He is an attending physician in the Departments of Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt and Mount Sinai Beth Israel as well as assistant professor of medicine at Icahn Mt Sinai School of Medicine. He has expertise and special interests in mind-body therapies.
