Wolfgang Mutter PhD, MBA

Wolfgang Mutter is General Manager and Co-Founder of Hyglos GmbH based in Bernried, Bavaria. Altogether Dr. Mutter worked for more than 25 years in the biotechnology industry with focus on diagnostics and enabling technologies. Dr. Mutter started his industrial career in 1989 at Boehringer Mannheim GmbH in R&D. After the acquisition of Boehringer Mannheim by Roche he held several positions in Global Marketing and Business Development. His final position at Roche Diagnostics was Head of Business Development. From 2004 to 2008 Dr. Mutter was CEO of Profos AG in Regensburg.

Dr. Mutter received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Tuebingen, Germany and holds an MBA from the University of Regensburg, Germany. Dr. Mutter is founder of several biotechnology companies, serves in the board of MicroCoat GmbH and is co-founder of the German Society for Proteomics (DGPF).
