Winald Gerritsen MD, PhD

Dr. Winald Gerritsen, MD, Ph.D., is a medical oncologist at Radboud Medical Center Nijmegen and the former Director of the Cancer Center Amsterdam. He has extensive expertise in translational research with a focus on tumor immunology and genitourinary cancers. Following his medical training at the University of Nijmegen, Prof. Gerritsen obtained his Ph.D. in the field of bone marrow transplantation from the Medical School of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in 1989. Over the following years, he worked in different positions at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, University Hospital Utrecht, Netherlands Cancer Institute / Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital and VU Medical Center.
