Willow R. Diluzio PhD

Willow R. DiLuzio is currently the head of the Biologics Formulations Group at the Takeda Boston site, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has over 13 years of experience in parenteral formulation development and aseptic drug product manufacturing and has been at Takeda (formerly Millennium) for over 8 years. Her team is responsible for formulation development and drug product manufacturing for biologic drug products, which includes liquid, lyophilized, and pre-filled syringe formulations.

She and her team have successful led numerous technology transfer project to contract manufacturing organizations. Willow previously worked for 5 years at DuPont Pharmaceutical in formulation development and drug product manufacturing. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Harvard University.
