William W. Mayo-smith MD, FACR

Dr. Mayo-Smith serves as Vice-Chair of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is a Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He is a practicing Abdomen & Interventional Radiologist and his area of research focus is in Abdominal CT and Intervention. He has served on the American College of Radiology Incidental Findings Steering Committee and Chaired the Sub-Committee on Adrenal Incidental Findings. He is currently working with a team to standardize Radiology Reporting between Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals and across the Partners network which performs over 2.5 million radiology exams per year.
