Bill Howell MB ChB is an assistant professor and an internal medicine hospitalist at the University of Utah Medical Center. As a hospitalist, his clinical interests include medical decision-making, clinical reasoning and training residents and medical students in the gentle art of diagnosis. Dr Howell has practiced in a variety of settings from the UK to New Zealand and from China to Namibia. He received his BSc in physiology/pharmacology in Manchester, England. He went to medical school at the RCSI in Dublin, Ireland and did his residency training in Internal Medicine at Tufts in Boston, Mass.
