William Bill Newman MB BS, FRCS, FRCOphth, FRCPCH, LLM

Mr William Newman graduated from The London Hospital Medical College in 1986 and subsequently trained in Bournemouth, Poole and Glasgow. He undertook fellowships in paediatric ophthalmology at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow and in neuro-ophthalmology jointly at the National Hospital for Neurology (Queen Square) and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

In 2016 he was appointed Consultant Paediatric and Neuro-ophthalmologist at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital having previously held the same position at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and St Paul’s Eye Unit in Liverpool since 2002. He is Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Liverpool University.
