Mr. Willem W. van Weperen is Regional Vice President and Country Manager International of Amicus Therapeutics Inc. Mr. van Weperen has more than 20 years of experience and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Prosensa Holding N.V... Previously he was Head of Global Marketing in the rare genetic disease business unit at Genzyme and General Manager of Genzyme Netherlands. Mr. van Weperen will be responsible for managing the commercial launch of Galafold for Fabry disease in the Netherlands Belgium and several Central Eastern European countries as well as Middle East Africa the Asia Pacific and Latin America.
