Dr. Weronika Gondek is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Gondek received her medical degree from the University of Silesia in Poland. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Case Western University and fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine at Georgetown University and the National Institute of Health program. Dr. Gondek’s expertise is in initial evaluations and outpatient treatment of patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia as well as binge eating disorder. Additionally, she works as a consultation psychiatrist at the Howard County General Hospital. Dr. Gondek’s primary research and clinical interest is in treating patients with a variety of eating disorders as well as in psychiatric care of patients with severe obesity including bariatric patients.
