Werner Schaefer is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses are Biomechanics and fluid dynamics of the lower and upper urinary tract, Urodynamic measurement technology, signal quality control, standardization, Bladder outlet obstruction, especially with "BPH", Objectification of urge symptoms, (OAB, DO), Central control of the LUT function, Detection of cerebral activity (fMRI, NIRS).
