Wendy Saffell-clemmer Bs, MS, PhD

Ms. Saffell-Clemmer leads Baxter Biopharma Solution's (BPS) Research and Development team, which is recognized as the Lyophilization Center of Excellence for Baxter. The BPS R&D team is responsible for the development of small volume liquid and lyophilized products which are manufactured for external clients both in Bloomington, IN and in Halle, Germany, which specializes in the manufacturing of highly potent and cytotoxic products, such as ADCs. Additionally Ms. Saffell-Clemmer's team performs analytical method validation, transfer and lifecycle maintenance for QC test methods as well as cleaning validation method development and validation.

Prior to joining Baxter in 2002, Ms. Saffell-Clemmer worked in Bioprocess Research and Development at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. She is on the USP Expert Panel for Protein Measurement and the AAPS Biosimilars Focus Group Steering Committee.
