Dr. Wendy J. Ross, MD, FAAP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College and serves as the Director of the Jefferson Center for Autism & Neurodiversity. In this leadership role, she oversees clinical, educational, and advocacy efforts focused on enhancing care and support for individuals on the autism spectrum and with related neurodiverse conditions.

Dr. Ross received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1997. She completed her pediatric training with a residency at Yale New Haven Hospital for Children and further specialized through a fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, where she developed expertise in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.

She is board-certified in General Pediatrics and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, reflecting her dual focus on medical and behavioral aspects of child development. Dr. Ross has participated in scholarly work, including publications on collaborative care models for pediatric mental health conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety.
