Wenbin Ying MD

Wenbin is the Vice President of Nitto Denko Technical Corporation overseeing various R&D activities in Molecular Therapeutics Department. His background is mainly in pharmacology and oncology. In his previous position as Principal Investigator at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, he has managed all development programs for inflammatory diseases. At NDT, Wenbin leads the development of the RNAi therapeutics for fibrosis programs as well as the polymer-based drug delivery platform. Currently, one of our liposomal siRNA formulations is in Phase Ib/IIa clinical trials for liver fibrosis.

Wenbin got his M.D. in Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, China. Later, he has accepted a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow position in Scripps Research Institute, US, where Wenbin has conducted post-doctoral work and academic research in molecular biology specialized in FGFs, FGF receptors, and their corresponding monoclonal antibodies.
