Wei-Lin Wang is a post-doctoral researcher currently working in the Department of Preventive Medicine at USC. His main research interest is to develop nuanced surveys and statistical methods to understand how environments and children's affective states influence their health outcomes with a focus on childhood obesity. He has solid skills and knowledge about multilevel modeling and diligently studies more advanced statistical methods. He was also fluent in using multiple statistical packages (e.g., SAS, Stata, and SPSS) and computer language (e.g., Python). The fun factor is playing the Fantasy Sports game by using cutting-edge technologies (e.g., machine learning and projections) and statistical methods. He loves everything about numbers and is eager to help people solve puzzles.
