Wassim Mchayleh MD, MBA, FACP

Wassim Mchayleh, MD, MBA, FACP, serves as the Clinical Program Director for the Breast Cancer Program at AdventHealth Cancer Institute. He is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with a 15-year track record. He is also an associate professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Mchayleh is a breast cancer expert with extensive experience in breast oncology and other solid malignancies. He leads breast cancer research initiatives at AdventHealth and serves as the principal investigator for several high-profile national and international clinical trials.

He has received multiple awards, including the ASCO merit award, and was honored with the Georgia Cancer Coalition Distinguished Cancer Clinician and Scientist Award in 2011. Dr. Mchayleh has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed journals in respected publications. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. He has a patient-centered philosophy and is passionate about patient advocacy. He focuses on delivering personalized and high-quality care, always making sure to approach each patient as if they were family.
