Warren D. Shlomchik, MD, is a professor of medicine and immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is director of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Cell Therapy and scientific director of the Hematopoietic Malignancy Program at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Shlomchik's research is dedicated to understanding the complex immunology of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT), including graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), graft-versus-leukemia (GVL), and immune reconstitution. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
