Warren Bingham

Warren is the Founder and Executive Chairman of MedTech International, Remarkable 22 Start-up Coach, Board Member of Research Australia, Non-Executive Director of Lenexa Medical, and Adjunct Fellow - Department of Management in the Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University.

Warren is passionate about empowering people, saving lives, and enhancing health and the environment, and with more than 30 years of proven success in the Medical Devices sector, Warren specializes in leading organizations with innovative and disruptive medical devices and Digital Health technologies with their global strategic execution, commercialization, and Board fulfillment. A Values-Based Leader, he also contributes extensively in the For Purpose / NFP sector, providing strategic advice, board and ambassadorship, and hands-on volunteering for multiple charities and organizations.

In 2001, Warren established the Australian subsidiary of Given Imaging Ltd, a company that revolutionized and pioneered PillCam® technology, an ingestible pill-sized camera to visualize the GI tract in a non-invasive, cost-effective, safe, and patient-friendly manner. In 2004, he successfully established Capsule Endoscopy on the Medicare Benefits Scheme, a world 1st for any National Healthcare system

Whilst serving on the global management team from 2000, the company grew from a start-up to a multinational, publicly-traded company with revenues exceeding $250 million in 2013. In February 2014, Covidien acquired Given Imaging for approx. $1 Billion.

Warren’s significant contributions have been recognized; he was a finalist in the 2016 Australian Institute of Managements 'Excellence in Leadership Awards, and in 2018 was acknowledged by Australia's Peak Life Science Industry Organisation AusBiotech for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to AusMedtech’, in 2019 was conferred the honorary academic title of Adjunct Fellow, Macquarie University, Department of Management in the Faculty of Business and Economics. More recently in 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) Outstanding Achievement Award for his contribution to the industry development, improvement in patient outcomes, and excellence in leadership and innovation.

Warren is also an Ambassador for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, an Ambassador for Diabetes Australia and IBD Medical, and a member of the Springboard Enterprises LifeSciences Council.
