Wan Hazmy Che Hon MD, MS Ortho, FAMM, FAOI, FAOAA

Prof Dr. Wan Hazmy Che Hon was born in Seremban and received his early education at Dato’ Klana Putra Primary School, Lenggeng and MARA Junior Science College, Seremban. He received his Medical Degree from State University of Ghent, Belgium in 1991 and a Masters degree in Orthopedic Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in the year 1998. In 1999 he undertook the Trauma Fellowship Program in Augsburg Trauma Hospital, Germany. Following which he completed his sub-specialty in the field of Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty and Sports Surgery in Wakefield Orthopedic Clinic and Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia in 2002 under the ‘Australian Orthopedic Association (AOA) Accredited Fellowship Programme’.

Prof Dr. Wan Hazmy is a member of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee, and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), European Society for Sports, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy Malaysian Orthopedic Association (MOA), Malaysian Medical Relief Society and The Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM). He is also a Fellow of the Malaysian Academy of Medicine and a founding member and President of Malaysian Arthroscopy Society from 2015-2017.
