Walter L. Lamar MD, FASCP

Dr. LaMar, attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He completed residencies in internal medicine at University Hospital/VA Medical Center, Oklahoma City and in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He completed a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, followed by a Fellowship in Dermatopathology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School under the tutelage of Dr. Martin Mihm. Dr. LaMar’s board certifications include Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Dermatopathology. He has been a pathologist at St. John Medical Center since 1980 and a member of Pathology Laboratory Associates, Inc. since its inception.
