Walter Alomar-Jimenez is a Resident-Physician PGY-3 at New York University, Rusk Rehabilitation in New York. Dr. Alomar-Jimenez has lectured on Medico-legal topics relating primarily to health care disparities in Puerto Rico and its relationship with the Debt Crisis and Self-Determination. He has worked as resident-physician in Puerto Rico at the San Juan City Hospital.

He earned his M.D., Cum laude, in 2014 from University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, his J.D., Magna cum laude, in 2014 from University of Puerto Rico, Law School, and his B.S., Magna cum laude, in 2008 from University of Puerto Rico, where he was named to the Dean's Honor List each year. He is admitted to the bars of the District of Puerto Rico and the Federal United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
