Walid Kamoun MBBS, MS, PhD

Walid is a Cancer research scientist with extensive experience in animal models of cancer and intravital microscopy. He is a Biomedical image processing expert, developed methods for cell tracking, cell segmentation, 3D/4D data analysis with experience on C/C++ and Matlab. He Published data on the effects of antiangiogenic therapy in glioma (Kamoun et al JCO 2009). The study was widely cited and had extensive media exposure (Reuters, Bloomberg and Nature Reviews Cancer). Recently, he published a new method for quantifying blood flow using multiphoton microscopy (Kamoun et al Nature Methods 2010).
